Good Deeds - Paula Abdul

It was Donna's first day at the salon. She was supposed to just start helping out the salon's hairdresser while she learn the ropes of hairdressing, but lo and behold, Chiquita the hairdresser failed to show up for work that day. Donna now has to take care of Chiquita's clients for the day. The first client – Paula Abdul.
"It was absolutely nervewracking", relates Donna. "I didn't know how to do hair. My previous job before this was selling fish at the market." Donna almost cried when she realized she had to use a straightening iron on Paula Abdul's hair. "I was so afraid I'd burn her gorgeous hair. I was totally petrified!"
When Paula Abdul asked Donna what was wrong, Donna confessed that it was her first day and she didn't know how to use the straightening iron. "I thought she was going to yell at me when I told her that I didn't know how to use the straightening iron", Donna said.
But the kind-hearted singer and choreographer smiled at her and said sweetly "Oh honey, let me show you how to use it. It's really easy!" Then Paula went on to teach Donna how to use the straightening iron. Paula ironed some of her own hair and after watching her for a short time, Donna felt confident enough to do it. She then proceeded to iron the rest of Paula's gorgeous hair.
Paula was impressed with the results. "I couldn't have done it without her", Donna said. "I love her. Now I know how to use a straightening iron – thanks to Paula Abdul!"
