It was supposed to be a night of fun at O2, a club in downtown London, when in an instant people were panicking and rushing to get out of the club. Scores of people would have gotten hurt if not for the heroic act of Jude Law, who was there that night having a good time with his friends.

It was almost midnight when on the dance floor, Jude overheard someone saying that "there's a bomb about to go off –", to which he reacted by going to the manager to inform him of a possible bomb threat. The manager, who apparently was a bit inebriated at that time, shouted "Bomb!", inciting panic among the party goers.
Those who heard him immediately rushed to get out, and word quickly spread that there was a bomb that is about to go off in the building. People would have trampled on each other, but the quick thinking Jude Law stepped on the stage and began to do a striptease in order to catch everyone's attention. It worked!

Once he had everyone's attention, he ordered everyone to calmly go outside and wait for the police officers to arrive.

The police arrived five minutes after everyone were safely out of the building. They searched the club and failed to find anything, but they located the person who allegedly said that there was a bomb about to go off.

"I didn't say that there was a bomb about to go off", he said when questioned. "I said that there's a bum about to go up!"
